You can't get your degree certificates without paying bribe

My daughter just passed a degree course from Ghaziabad. She and her three friends went to collect their degree certificate from Meerut University (about 80 kms from Delhi). They were asked by the 'Babus' to come the next day. After pleading a lot, they demanded Rs 1000/- each. After a lot of negotiation, they agreed to aceept Rs 2500/- for four of them. My daughter got the certificate. When I came to know about this, I was both aghast and angry. If only I had known that such a scenario is prevalent, I would definitely have trapped these parasites in the net of law. I am sorry for what she did, but she has agreed now to never to pay bribe to anyone.
