My name is Rajesh. Me and my Russian girlfriend are planning to get married according to the Special Marriage Act 1954. We both have been staying in Rishikesh for more than a month and are wondering what is the procedure for getting married according to the above Act. We have most of our documents ready except for the 30day stay proof from the Police Station. I wanted to find out if there is any Marriage Registrar Office in Rishikesh or Haridwar as it would be easier for us to get married from here. If there are what are the basic rules to be fulfilled.
