I got married on 26.12.2013 at St. Antony's Church, Mala, Trissur District, Kerala. Certificate issued by the Church Authority is already available. I am a NRI, working as a Senior Executive in Oman since 1992. I wish to bring my wife to Oman on a permanent Family Visa. Presently I am living in Muscat and plan to bring my wife in December 2013. For obtaining Visa, the Marriage Certificate is required to be attested by the Indian Embassy, Muscat. I request you to let me know whether the Marriage Certificate issued by the Christian Church Authority is OK for applying for the Family Visa for my wife. If not, could you please let me know how to proceed further to obtain the valid Marriage Certificate.
