Thats what a inspector of the Civil supplies dept here in Chennai said to me ,when he called on us to verify our bonafides with regard to our new ration card application.
This was in Feb 2011. Had applied for the card[with all neccesary papers pucca] after downloading the format from the user friendly web site of TN government . When i landed to submit my application,the closing time was over,still they accepted my form which is a rare gesture.
The office itself shows signs of good administration.
This is the office on the left side of the juntion after Nehru park on PH road.
Kudos to such public servants.Let them have the courage to withstand the temptation of bribes for ever.
