No bribe for ration card at Chamrajpet

I moved to Bangalore with the new job. I got my and my wife's name removed from the family ration card of Ahmedabad.
The locals said I won't get the ration card since they themselves have been waiting for years to get it. However, I thought to give it a try. Again, as usual I avoid the agents and wanted to do it directly.
The whole process took just 2-3 visits and half an hour each visit. It was very smooth and no bribe demand.
I think that was the nicest experience with government body at Chamrajpet Food and Civil supplies
