Customs officer asking Bribe for used clothes
When my wife and I visited in India we paid for excess baggage in US to carry used Indian outfits and sarees to be distributed to poor people. The customs officer inspected all the baggage and I explained to him these were Indian clothes and we brought it to distribute to the poor people in India as they would go to waste if we donated them in USA. He demanded a bribe I politely refused and I told him that I wouldn't mind him throwing the clothes in trash but my consience will not allow me to pay a bribe. He shooed me away in a hurry.
