I am a British naitonal. On 2 occasions I have had a Police officer tell me at departures that I am now allwoed to take any Indian currency out of the country and that I should give him the money I hold. I asked to see the manager on erach occasion and he back off. I saw 1 or 2 others pay money over to avoid any last minutes hassles. Its so sad that India, the home of spirituality, is now so very corrupt.
