Refused to pay bribe for bringing a LCD TV back to India
I brought a LCD TV back to India when visiting parents. We were 4 and had no other items to declare. I was asked for bribe of 4000 rupees or else I was told to pay 6000 rupees as duty. After haggling and protesting for more then 2 hours i refused to pay the bribe. I paid 6000 rupees and got the reciept from the rogues. They were not happy at all and called me "mahatma" when i refused to bribe them.
