Firstly I would like to congratulate you on what you are doing. It's about time that Indians united against corruption. I am an NRI and have a property dispute pending in court for over a year. I don't understand why all court proceedings are so long and drawn out. As our dispute is against an Indian citizen it almost feels like the court people are being "bribed" to cancel court dates and draw out the process for as long as possible. I have no evidence to prove this but have been advised by many people that this is what people in India do as they know as a NRI we have limited time in India. I have to then question the integrity of the judges - is this how they increase their income? I have to say that it is embarrassing as an Indian that India is so corrupt and the simplest of jobs require bribes to be paid - it is not natural for us and I have to say that I refuse to be part of this system and have unfortunately found doors closed to me to pursue our case. If India wants to be respected as a world player they now need to start proving it. It is very difficult working within a system that has no clear boundaries. My father tells me before independence things were much more defined and MPs have made their career only to line their pockets and not to improve the lives of the people they represent - the only people who profit are the MP's - the Commonwealth Games were the most publicised example of this. The end to this situation will only occur when punishment of people taking bribes is publicised and their superiors are punished for their workers deeds. I can understand that a worker will only take a bribe if it has been sanctioned by their superior – if it’s ok for the boss then why not the workers? Look at the pride of Indians when we won the Cricket World Cup this year – wouldn’t it be great if every day were like this? India can be greater – don’t stop now!

Hi Raghu, was reading through the website and i am inspired with the way you have got people involved to try and eliminate corruptiion which is endemic in your country.I was of the view to copy or use the same model to help the poor africans(ugandans) to expose corrupt government institutions and bodies, departments that are reapping off the most vulnerable. Any suggestions?

Hello I am sitting here in UK and am a Pakistani, and came across your site as it was reported on BBC news website, and wanted to write to you to commend you on the excellent idea of setting up this site. I sincerely hope that it helps to eradicate the bribary culture in India, and I sincerely hope that this idea could spread in Pakistan as well. We simply can not rely on our government officials to do anything about corruption and thus it is left to the people, and using the internet in this way is one leap towards ridding ourselves of the menace that is bribes. Dear Mr Raghu, I read of your website on the BBC website. I post this but I can't find the appropriate category. I think it is important for India and Indians to know that one's actions have wider implications than one thinks. The Indian 'bribe culture' brings your country into disrepute. This is a link to a news report of an Indian National trying to bribe a Singapore cop thinking that it works there. I think when reporting about bribe, if is allowed to expose the name and a little detail of the person who took the bribe,its affect would be very very high. people will afraid to take because they will think that his or her name would be on bribe site tomorrow. The person should not be charged for giving the bribe when he declares here.

Dear Raghu, Kudos for the site, which is doing a great work. I particularly liked the section i didnt have to pay. Where people have posted their experience about some of the honest people. But i see that this aspect is not highlighted effectively. I am sure this section can be a morale booster for such honest people if heighlighted properly. please insist the people to post correct names and department names so that people can send them a wishes (mainly thru email) or 'Like' kind of button to appreciate them. If a photo can be posted then it will be icing on the cake. Also please make this link a prominent one on the main page itself. lets appreciate some good work and encourage other to follow. Thanks and cheers for good work.
