After two weeks, I went to the police station and asked whether they have forwarded my documents for further process or not? This time the police was asking for the bribe and I said, "I have'nt given any type of money and I am not interested in giving". The police said, "Its OK". Hi Raghu, I am Dileep. I recently bought a second-hand flat at HSR Layout, Bangalore. The current owner is not staying in Bangalore. I will be registering this property within 10-15 days. The current owner will be flying down to Bangalore on the day of registration. I want to get this property registered without paying any bribe. I have never paid any bribe so far in my life. All the transactions with respect to this property is in white. I am registering the property on the entire amount (way above the guidance value). I feel that since all my transactions are in white, and I am willing to follow all the rules and regulations of the Govt., I should be getting the property registered without paying anyone any bribe. But since my current owner cannot make multiple visits to Bangalore for the registration, I am afraid if I can get the registration done without paying bribe. My lawyer insists that I will have to pay the bribe if I need to have a smooth process. It will be really great if you can help me in this regard. Even though I can understand the local language, I cannot speak in the local language. It will be greatly appreciated if you can help me in this effort.
