I applied for passport and my local police station cleared the document

I applied for passport and my local police station cleared the document to further process.I have been waiting for 1week but still i dint get any message to be cleared in this stage. I want passport within two week. So please tell me what should i do. I think i can go to the SP office and tell them to do a further process.
