We live in Goa kindly advise on the following questions for me. Thank you
(1) I have a passport in my maiden surname which had expired in 1987. The address is also that of
my parents before getting married. I have since shifted to my husbands house, am 55 years of
age and am applying for a new passport. Do I have to submit fresh documents all over again or
can I apply for a passport giving in this old passport? Same is the case of my husband, who is
57 years of age and has a different address on the old passport. My husband had his address in
Vasco da Gama and I had my address in Margao, we now live in a village in Nagoa, Verna,
Salcette Goa.
(2) My son has been in Mangalore studying for the past 9 years. We are applying online for his
passport, but each time we fill in the address, his present address comes in as his permanent
address. And then the message comes that the present address is not in this jurisdiction i.e. Goa.
Kindly advise.
