Khatha certificate
I applied for Khatha certificate, in Bangalore Chickpet ward for new apartment purchased by me. I approached Municipality office with documents for Khatha Transfer. They accepted the same. Not only I did not pay bribe, in fact no bribe was askd for. I had a khatha transfer for inherited house. Especially if owner approaches on his / her own, and is in no particular hurry, it is not necessary to pay bribe.
