Thanks to the wonderful idea to bringing this forum to share the bitter experience with the govt. officials. But the question is how to control and get rid of this corruption a so called BRIBE.
Below are my experience in Revenue dept. happened recently.
Recently I have approached the BBMP office to get KATHA for my vacant land purchased 3yrs. back. Since I need to furnish Encumbrance certificate I have approached Sub-Registrar office and they asked me to wait for 30 mins. When approached again I have been delivered with Encumbrance certificate, and asked to pay a fee of Rs. 250.00. I paid the same and requested for the receipt, then only I have heard that " Sir we gave you the Encumbrance certificate in just 30 mins., else it will take a day or two. So the fee is for the quick service. Then only I realized that I am a victim of Bribe.
