Having a valid visa, I was sent back home to Sweden with return flight in January 2011.

Reported on August 7, 2012 from New Delhi , Delhi  ι Report #31270

In 2004 my book "The Bhopal Saga - causes and consequences of the world's largest industrial disaster" was published. For a few years, I still had no problems to get a visa. But around 2009 it started. The most humiliating was that the then ambassador totally refused to have any kind of contact with me. The next ambassador gave me a visa twice, and I had no problems to enter India - but was stopped when leaving. The present ambassador gave me a visa - but when I arrived in ********** ********** airport, I had to wait, and suddenly I was forced to go back to my aeroplane that was waiting to start for Sweden. I was not allowed to talk to the person who made the decison. Read more at my website and my blog http://www.ingrideckerman.blogspot.se/p/bhopal.html. - I am not the only example. Several other persons have either not got visa, or been sent back like me. - I still wonder if I could have managed my entry if I had offered a bribe?

What's your reaction?
